Women technology
Technology made to a woman’s measure.
Although it is true that Eddy Merckx Cycles ® have given a feminine look to the women’s series, that is still not the most important thing. For that reason, all of our frames have been specifically designed to the scale of the female body. Two aspects stand out in this regard: for our women’s models, we work with a higher head tube and shorter top tube. These modifications, made to measure for the female physiology, ensure more comfort and better performance.

Reach vs. stack
A more consistent way of sizing a range is using Reach and Stack.In combination with the correct angles for ST and HT you will get a logical line-up offrame sizes.By using the right increments for Angle and Reach and Stack, you will get a correct sizing.This system can be used in combination with EDDY’s HOEK!!

Eddy Merckx Shaping 7000

Female Race Geometry
Eddy Merckx cycles is above all a manufacturer of racing bikes, and Eddy is the champion of racing bike geometry. it was normal therefore that the company should design a real racing bike for women. it means that the angle of the seat tube is kept as close to a proper racing angle as possible, and so the top tube is made shorter, and the front head tube is made larger. it’s more adapted to women’s body morphologies and much more comfortable to ride.
