What do I need to do to benefit from the warranty?
To benefit from the warranty, the bicycle must be purchased new from an authorised Ridley dealer and registered within 30 days of purchase at https://www.eddymerckx.com/bike-registration. The lifetime warranty applies from the date of purchase and requires annual maintenance by an authorised Ridley dealer, supported by a valid proof of purchase and maintenance history.
From 1 January 2026, a registered Ridley benefits from a lifetime warranty on frame and fork, which may be transferred once from the first to the second owner, provided that all warranty conditions are met. After transfer to a third or subsequent owner, the warranty automatically expires. Within the bicycle industry, “lifetime” refers to the technical lifespan of the frame and fork, with a market-aligned limit of up to 10 years.
Warranty claims must be submitted via an authorised BCF dealer together with proof of purchase showing the bicycle’s serial number and purchase date. If BCF considers the product eligible for warranty, it may, at its discretion, repair or replace it with the same or an equivalent product if the original product is no longer available. These constitute the sole warranty obligations of BCF.
