A warm reunion during the sun-soaked second edition of Eddy's Gravel Ride
Last Sunday marked the second edition of Eddy's Gravel Ride. It was a warm reunion with many of our loyal companions from the Eddy Merckx peloton. Fortunately, we set off early in the day, allowing us to relax and catch up under a parasol during the hottest hours. We thank everyone for their presence and hope to welcome you all again next year.
One year after Eddy Merckx’s eightieth birthday, we once again had exciting news to share. Shortly before Eddy's Gravel Ride, we launched the brand-new 525R, an aero road bike that received a lot of enthusiastic reactions. Naturally, we proudly showcased this bike to our community. Of course, we also displayed our core range, and attendees were even given an exclusive preview of a new project from our engineers.

Refreshments
Participants could choose between a 40 or 80 km gravel ride, and in contrast to last year, we added an 80 km road ride. Along the route, riders passed landmarks such as the Vlooybergtoren and the mural of the Cannibal. Thanks to our experienced guides, everyone returned safely to the factory. After the ride, refreshments were more than welcome. In a summery atmosphere, participants enjoyed a drink and a meal by Foodmaker.
To our great delight, not only the gravel ride but also the 525R was warmly received. We welcomed visitors from all over the country, as well as from the United Kingdom and Germany. Most importantly, everyone returned home safe and satisfied. Behind the scenes, we are already working towards the next event and a new bike, so that we can once again present something special at Eddy's Gravel Ride #3.
