Eddy Merckx Corsa Pévèle at DT Swiss Craft Bike Days
In November, the Craft Bike Days took place in Bielefeld, Germany. There, we presented our Corsa Pévèle, a steel all-road bike handmade in Belgium. The use of high-quality steel is perfectly tailored to the gravel world and provides the necessary comfort on bumpy roads.
The Craft Bike is an initiative of DT Swiss, MTB-News, Ergon and Trickstuff. The event targets small or young companies that still approach building a bike as a craft. Workshops will take place on a wide variety of topics and, meanwhile, smaller manufacturers will be given a stage to explain their achievements and goals.
Eddy Merckx headed to North Rhine-Westphalia with the Corsa Stainless Steel Gravel. This bike is unique because of the combination of Columbus Xcr (stainless) and Spirit HSS (high-quality and light) and was developed with an eye on maximum cycling experience. The bikes are welded by Johan Vranckx, who was recruited by Eddy Merckx himself at the time.
