Eddy's Gravel Ride returns: 2nd edition on June 21

  • News
After a successful first edition, Eddy’s Gravel Ride returns. On June 21, we once again invite you to a unique cycling day in the footsteps of Eddy Merckx.

During this second edition, we remain true to last year’s concept: a beautiful cycling experience with routes passing several iconic locations for Eddy Merckx, combined with hidden gems. The start takes place at Belgian Cycling Factory, where all Eddy Merckx bikes are built.

Whether you are an experienced cyclist or simply feel like enjoying a great ride, there is a suitable challenge for everyone.

Choose your challenge

Gravel

For those seeking adventure, there are again two gravel routes:

  • 80 km gravel – a challenging route with a mix of gravel roads, forest sections and quiet country roads
  • 40 km gravel – a shorter but equally beautiful ride, ideal for discovering gravel

Both routes follow the trusted concept of the first edition: carefully planned paths, clear signage and a unique gravel experience. All participants can complete the route at their own pace.

Road

New this year is an 80 km road ride. This route runs along quiet roads and offers a sporty yet accessible challenge.
To ensure comfort and safety, the road ride starts in 2 waves.
For both routes, you can ride in a group or at your own pace. We will send the GPX route by email a few days in advance.

Registration

Participation costs €20.

Included in your registration:

  • Participation in the chosen route
  • Guided ride (you can also ride at your own pace; we provide a GPX)
  • Refreshments along the route
  • 1 drink voucher
  • Goodies from Eddy Merckx and 3Action
  • Cozy after-ride with food and drinks
